长期从事发育及生殖生物学研究,鉴定了RLIM基因在乳腺发育中的关键作用,发现X染色体失活(XCI)在成体细胞中的新模式,阐明了RLIM基因在乳腺发育和胚胎发育早期中调控机制及其进化意义。还通过一系列新基因的发现和功能研究揭示了鱼类生殖生长的新格局。已经在Cell等杂志发表论文17篇。学科组将以小鼠等为对象研究发育与进化的遗传印迹调控,主要从事乳腺干细胞的调控、X染色体失活机制及进化意义、发育过程印迹基因的功能等研究。
